Back Extension
Difficulty: Advanced
The back extension is an advanced exercise to strengthen the lower back muscles.

Step 1 - Starting PositionBrace your feet against a wall and rest your stomach and chest on a ball with your back rounded. Place your hands on the floor. |

Step 2 - Straighten your BackKeeping your feet braced against the wall, straighten your back and lift your chest off the ball keeping your arms straight out over your head. |
|
Step 3 - Return to the Starting PositionSlowly return to the starting position. |
